Neurology Center Website in Tashkent: A Teardown of a Live Site

A neurology center website in Tashkent deals with a business where the decision to book is often made fast, while the worry is still fresh: a headache, a numb arm, a child who can't sleep. At that moment the website works instead of a receptionist: it either answers the anxious questions and leads to a booking, or it loses the person, who goes off to check the clinic next door.

We reviewed one such center's website in Tashkent the way an ordinary visitor would: opened the main sections, followed the links, looked at what was written about the cost of a visit. Technically the site is fine — it responds quickly, the server isn't slow. But what a visitor actually sees on the pages leaves questions that cost real bookings.

Below are the specific spots we found, and what is usually done about them.

What stops it from selling

The site never says how much a neurologist's appointment costs

What it costs the business. Someone with a headache or worried about a child's symptoms wants a rough sense of the numbers before calling. If there's no price, some people assume it's expensive here, or that they'll have to haggle it out over chat, and go to a clinic that states the consultation cost right on the service page.

What we do. We add a from-to range for the main appointments — first consultation, follow-up, vascular ultrasound, EEG — and briefly explain what the final amount depends on. This isn't about selling at the lowest number, it's a filter: the people who reach booking are the ones the price suits. A day or two, along with the copy.

There's no price on any of the pages we checked

What it costs the business. We went through the homepage, the contacts section, the services section and a few other pages — pricing figures appear nowhere. That means someone specifically looking for the cost of a neurologist's appointment won't find it even on the page for that exact service, and will go type it into a search for a competitor instead.

What we do. We add prices or ranges to every service page, not just one general one. This is done together with a price list for the clinic, usually a day or two.

One of the homepage links leads to an error page instead of a section

What it costs the business. Among the first links we checked on the homepage, one — the blog section, for example — shows a server error page instead of content. The same error is seen by someone arriving from a search engine or a forwarded Telegram link, and by the search engine itself when it recrawls the site — for it, this is also a signal that the page is broken.

What we do. We check the server logs for these addresses — the cause is usually the database, a failed CMS update, or an expired hosting plan — and restore the section. Anywhere from an hour to a day; we also add monitoring that sends an alert if the page goes down again.

What this gives

When the price of a visit is visible right away, the people who reach booking are the ones it actually suits — fewer empty calls and chats asking "so how much is it".

A working link to the blog or a section means fewer people leaving the site over an error, and a more stable recrawl by search engines.

A full rework of pages and copy like this costs from $2500 with us and takes 3–8 weeks — delivered with a ready price list, copy, and checked links.

What this costs

Out of every hundred people who reach the site ready to get in touch, roughly 28–55 are lost at these points.

This is an estimate based on our own stated assumptions, not a measurement of someone else's analytics: we do not know this site's traffic and do not make it up. We count per hundred visitors, and the share of every item is open in our code.
