Printing Ink Manufacturer Website in Tashkent: What Keeps It From Bringing in Customers

We are reviewing the website of a printing ink manufacturer in Tashkent, built on Tilda. The buyer for this kind of business is easy to picture: print shops, packaging workshops and owners of small printing studios. They choose a supplier for the long term, not for a single order, and before the first purchase they want to understand three things: what it costs, whether they can trust you, and how quickly they can reach you. That is what a printing ink manufacturer website in Tashkent has to answer.

Technically, the site is in decent shape: the server responds in 78 ms, pages open quickly, and the overall audit score came to 66. Speed is not the problem here. The problem is that the site lacks answers to the questions visitors arrive with, which is why we are looking at it closely.

Below are the findings in the order in which a person opening the site for the first time on a phone would notice them, while trying to decide whether this manufacturer is worth contacting.

What stops it from selling

A buyer scrolled through all 6 pages and never found what the inks cost

What it costs the business. A print shop's technologist or purchasing manager almost always compares several suppliers and looks at price first. If they cannot find it on any page, they will not write to ask: they will close the tab and go to a supplier who states a price. You will never see these people in your calls or enquiries.

What we do. We add 'from and to' price ranges for the main product groups and explain what the final figure depends on: batch size, ink type, packaging. This does not commit you to selling at the lower bound. It takes a day or two including the copy.

No answer to the main question: what amount does the conversation start from

What it costs the business. Silence about price reads as 'expensive' or 'we will haggle'. Some people will still write, but most will prefer a supplier whose order of magnitude is clear. As a result, you are competing not on ink quality but on the buyer's patience.

What we do. We add a clear price range and a sample calculation for a typical order to the product cards and the contacts page. This is done together with the previous item and needs almost no separate time.

There is no way to message the manufacturer on Telegram or WhatsApp from the site

What it costs the business. Buyers in Uzbekistan are used to settling work questions by chat: sending a photo of a sample, asking about availability, clarifying packaging. Without a messenger button, a person has to dial a number, and in the evening or on weekends they will not. These enquiries simply never happen, and you cannot see them in your statistics.

What we do. We put Telegram and WhatsApp buttons in the header and a floating button on the mobile version, with a pre-filled first message such as 'I am interested in ink for...'. A few hours.

Nothing proves that you can be trusted with a batch and a prepayment

What it costs the business. Ink is a material that the print result depends on, and trying a new supplier is risky. Without reviews from print shops, application examples and a clear guarantee, the decision comes down to price, and on price there is always someone cheaper.

What we do. We collect reviews with the names of print shops and people, publish five to seven before-and-after examples on real print jobs, and put the guarantee on quality and delivery times into words. A few days, including gathering the material.

Product descriptions run as solid blocks of text that are hard to scan for what matters

What it costs the business. A technologist skims the page diagonally looking for something specific: what printing the ink is for, what packaging sizes exist, what lead times apply. When there is nothing to catch the eye, they leave, even though the answer was on the page.

What we do. We break the text into sections with clear subheadings, move the key point to the start of each, and format specifications as a list. One day of work.

Search engines confuse the Russian and Uzbek versions of the site

What it costs the business. People in Tashkent search in both Russian and Uzbek, and these are different buyers with different queries. Without a link between the versions, Google treats them as competing pages and shows one or the other at random, instead of showing each person their own language.

What we do. We link the language versions to each other the way Google expects. A few hours, if both versions already exist.

What this gives

A buyer who opens the site immediately sees the order of prices and understands whether it is worth continuing the conversation, instead of silently leaving for competitors.

Enquiries start coming in from messengers: from people who find it easier to write than to call, especially in the evenings and on weekends.

A new customer has something to rely on when choosing: reviews from print shops, print examples and a guarantee stated in words.

If the site is rebuilt in full, that is the scope our studio's pricing covers. Some of the findings, such as the messenger buttons and the linking of language versions, can be fixed without a full rebuild.

What this costs

Out of every hundred people who reach the site ready to get in touch, roughly 30–57 are lost at these points.

This is an estimate based on our own stated assumptions, not a measurement of someone else's analytics: we do not know this site's traffic and do not make it up. We count per hundred visitors, and the share of every item is open in our code.
