The brief

Before the mock-up we reviewed the live site and began with its strengths: it is fast, images load lazily, the photos are their own. Two things got in the way of selling. There was no way to learn even the order of prices — the quiz collected answers but calculated nothing. And there was nowhere to leave an enquiry: six phone numbers on the home page and not a single form, while almost nobody is ready to call in the evening. The mock-up has a calculator: a kitchen, a walk-in wardrobe, a living room or a whole flat — volume, materials and fittings, with the range and lead time recalculated on every tap, and the enquiry goes out with the full list. There is also the reverse route — «name your budget and we'll suggest a set». The page is told in chapters with a reading-progress indicator; two chapters, production and the finale, are dark. Alongside are a chat and an admin panel.
