What a Team Building Company Website in Tashkent Should Look Like: A Teardown of One Tilda Site

This is the website of a team building company in Tashkent, built on Tilda. It has six pages: a home page, a catalogue of programs, contacts and a few service pages. The person who opens a team building company website in Tashkent is usually an HR manager or an office manager who needs to decide, in a single evening, who to trust with a corporate event or an off-site day for the team.

Technically the site is fine: the server responds in 14 ms, and its overall score in our audit is 68. The problem lies elsewhere. The site does a poor job of the task people open it for: quickly working out how much this costs and writing in whichever messenger is convenient for them.

We are looking at this particular site because almost all team building companies make the same mistakes. Below they are broken down from the point of view of a client who is choosing a contractor and is not ready to spend half a day on it.

What stops it from selling

A manager wants to estimate a budget for the team, and there is not a single number on the site

What it costs the business. We went through all six pages and found no mention anywhere of what a program costs. Someone choosing a contractor on a budget compares several sites at once. Where a price is given, they stay. Where it is not, few people write, and the rest simply close the tab, and you never find out about them.

What we do. We add a from-to range for the main formats and briefly explain what the final figure depends on: number of participants, venue, duration. A day or two, including the copy.

To clarify a date or format you have to call: there is no way to write on Telegram or WhatsApp

What it costs the business. In Uzbekistan people often prefer to write rather than call, especially in the evening and at weekends, which is exactly when events get planned. Without a messenger button, such enquiries simply never happen, and they do not show up in your statistics.

What we do. We add Telegram and WhatsApp buttons to the header and a floating button on mobile, with a pre-filled first message such as "Hello, we are interested in team building for our team". A few hours.

You open the page and do not immediately understand what the company does and who it is for

What it costs the business. The page has no main heading. A visitor should understand within a second that this is team building for companies, not a hobby club or a holiday camp. Search engines also do not get a clear signal about what the page is about, so both have to guess.

What we do. We put a single line on the first screen: what you do and who for. An hour, often less.

Photos from past events cannot be found in image search

What it costs the business. All 13 of 13 images have no description. For team building, photos from events are the main argument, and people search for them with queries like "what a team quest looks like". Without descriptions, these photos do not appear in such searches. Screen readers for blind users also rely on these descriptions.

What we do. We describe each photo properly: what format it is, how many people, where it took place. For a site of this size, it takes about a day.

Google shows the Russian and Uzbek versions mixed together

What it costs the business. In Tashkent people search in both Russian and Uzbek, and these are different people. Without an explicit link between the language versions, Google treats them as competing pages and shows one or the other at random, rather than the one a particular person needs.

What we do. We link the language versions to each other in the way Google expects. A few hours, if both versions already exist.

The menu, gallery or enquiry form may quietly stop working on a new phone

What it costs the business. Some of the site's components are built on libraries that are ten years old. With each new round of phone or browser updates, something can break silently: a button does not respond, a form does not send. The client does not complain, they just leave, and you lose an enquiry without knowing it.

What we do. We replace outdated components with modern ones and test every button and form on real phones. A day or two.

What this gives

A client choosing a contractor on a budget sees the price range straight away and writes to you, rather than to the company that has stated its prices.

People who dislike phone calls message you on Telegram or WhatsApp in one tap, and those enquiries become visible.

Photos from your events start working for you in image search, and Russian-speaking and Uzbek-speaking visitors each see their own version of the site.

What this costs

Out of every hundred people who reach the site ready to get in touch, roughly 20–43 are lost at these points.

This is an estimate based on our own stated assumptions, not a measurement of someone else's analytics: we do not know this site's traffic and do not make it up. We count per hundred visitors, and the share of every item is open in our code.

We do not name the company or link to it. This is about typical mistakes, not specific people; the name and logo on the screenshot are covered.
